The Counseling Center is first and foremost a service for King College students because we understand that college is about development inside and outside of the classroom.
Although services are free, you’ll be treated with the same degree of professionalism and confidentiality that you would expect from a private practice. Christian counseling is available for requests that range from severe depression and eating disorders to personal growth and relationship concerns. Services are open to individuals, couples, families and groups.
The Counseling Center is located next to White Hall, behind the Fine Arts Building, on the east end of the campus.
By appointment. Appointments can be made by phone by calling 423-652-4742.

“I have the best job in the world. People as me how I handle working with other people’s problems all the time, but that’s not what I do. I actually get to see more strengths in people and more victories in their lives that most people could imagine. My job is more a privilege than work."
